School of the Pentateuch

(SOP)

  • The School of the Pentateuch (SOP) is a four-month deep dive into the first five books of the Bible, Genesis through Deuteronomy. Together, these books lay the foundation of God’s redemptive story, revealing the origins of creation, covenant, and the birth of the nation of Israel. As we study, we’ll uncover how these ancient texts still speak directly to us today, shaping our understanding of God’s character and His purposes for humanity.

Through the inductive method, you’ll engage Scripture firsthand, observing, interpreting, and applying the Word in context. This school builds upon what you’ve already learned in the School of the New Testament (SNT), continuing your journey of biblical discovery with an Old Testament focus.

To apply, you must have successfully completed the School of the New Testament, as the Pentateuch school assumes familiarity with the inductive approach and the narrative framework of the New Testament.
